بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Surah 1 · The Opening
Surah Al-Fatihah سُورَةُ الفَاتِحَة
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں جو تمام جہانوں کا پروردگار ہے۔
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
نہایت مہربان، بڑا رحم کرنے والا۔
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Master of the Day of Judgement.
روزِ جزا کا مالک۔
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.
ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں۔
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Guide us to the straight path.
ہمیں سیدھے راستے کی ہدایت دے۔
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
The path of those You have blessed — not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who have gone astray.
ان لوگوں کا راستہ جن پر تو نے انعام فرمایا، نہ ان کا جن پر غضب ہوا اور نہ گمراہوں کا۔
Verses on Learning & Recitation
The Quran on Its Own Recitation
اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
Read in the name of your Lord who created.
اپنے رب کے نام سے پڑھیے جس نے پیدا کیا۔
أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا
Or add to it, and recite the Quran with measured, beautiful recitation.
یا اس سے کچھ زیادہ کر لیجیے، اور قرآن کو ٹھہر ٹھہر کر (ترتیل سے) پڑھا کیجیے۔
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember — so is there anyone who will take heed?
اور ہم نے قرآن کو نصیحت کے لیے آسان کر دیا ہے، تو کیا کوئی ہے جو نصیحت حاصل کرے؟
فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
So exalted is Allah, the True King. Do not hasten with the Quran before its revelation is completed to you, and say: “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
پس اللہ بلند و برتر ہے، جو سچا بادشاہ ہے۔ اور قرآن میں جلدی نہ کیجیے اس سے پہلے کہ اس کی وحی آپ پر پوری ہو جائے، اور دعا کیجیے: اے میرے رب! میرے علم میں اضافہ فرما۔
إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا
Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most upright, and gives good news to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.
بے شک یہ قرآن اس راستے کی رہنمائی کرتا ہے جو سب سے سیدھا ہے، اور نیک عمل کرنے والے مومنوں کو خوشخبری دیتا ہے کہ ان کے لیے بڑا اجر ہے۔
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
Those who believe and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah. Truly, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور جن کے دل اللہ کے ذکر سے مطمئن ہوتے ہیں۔ سن لو! اللہ کے ذکر ہی سے دلوں کو اطمینان ملتا ہے۔
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
So surely, with hardship comes ease.
پس یقیناً مشکل کے ساتھ آسانی ہے۔
